Lakers Assign Bronny, Carr to G League
The Los Angeles Lakers assigned Bronny James and rookie Cameron Carr to their G League affiliate, the Coachella Valley Lakers, for the affiliate’s season opener. James has played sparingly in five NBA games, averaging about 2.4 minutes per game, while Carr has seen little action after recovering from a preseason oblique strain. The assignment gives both guards a chance to get more playing time and develop; James has been more productive in past G League appearances.
