Timberwolves beat Raptors 117-94, move to 3-0

The Minnesota Timberwolves stayed unbeaten at 3-0 with a 117-94 home win over the Toronto Raptors, building a large lead with a dominant third quarter and strong shooting. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 26 points, while LaMelo Ball scored 15 in his regular-season debut before foul trouble curtailed his minutes; Rudy Gobert had 13 rebounds as the Timberwolves controlled the glass and defense. Toronto, which fell to 2-1, played without Kawhi Leonard because of left-knee swelling; Ja’Kobe Walter led the Raptors with 22 points.
