76ers Rule Out James, Embiid Against Hornets

The Philadelphia 76ers will be without Joel Embiid and LeBron James for Saturday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, with the team managing Embiid’s foot issue and James’ back/sciatica on the second night of a back-to-back. Both stars played in Philadelphia’s Friday win over the New York Knicks, where James scored 20 points and Embiid contributed 10. Jaylen Brown, who missed Friday’s game with a knee injury, is questionable, along with Jabari Walker and Tacko Fall; other players are also listed out. The 5-1 Sixers will look to Tyrese Maxey and the rest of their rotation to keep their strong start going against the 3-3 Hornets.

No right coverage yet — a bubble gap.
Philadelphia needs to win these games without the stars if they want to keep their strong start going.
The Hornets have a real shot to win if Brown stays questionable and those two sit out.
Resting LeBron and Embiid on the back to back is smart with his back and her foot issues.
