Meleek Thomas made an immediate impact in his NBA debut, scoring 16 points in 19 minutes to help the Cleveland Cavaliers rally from a 10-point halftime deficit and beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-125 in overtime. The rookie, who had not played in Cleveland’s first two games, hit four of five 3-pointers and provided a spark off the bench. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 25 points and delivered in the closing minutes, while James Harden and Evan Mobley contributed to the second-half comeback. Thomas’s fearless play and added ball-handling gave Cleveland a promising boost to its bench.

Mitchell's 25 kept them close but Thomas's impact off the bench made the difference in the end.

Cleveland needed that kind of energy to erase a 10-point hole. Overtime wins like this build good habits.
