Grizzlies reach 5-0 after beating Trail Blazers and Ja Morant

Memphis beat Portland 124-103 on Thursday, pulling away after a tied first half to finish a four-game road trip unbeaten and improve to 5-0. The Grizzlies outscored the Trail Blazers 66-45 after halftime, with eight players reaching double figures and the bench contributing 56 points. The win came against a previously unbeaten Portland team and marked Memphis’ first meeting with former point guard Ja Morant since his departure, underscoring the team’s strong start without him. Memphis next faces Sacramento, which is winless at 0-5 and has already lost once to the Grizzlies this season; the Kings are also dealing with injuries and defensive struggles.
