Payton Pritchard scored a season-high 30 points off the bench as the Boston Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 125-111 in both teams’ NBA Cup opener, extending Boston’s winning streak to four. Boston built a lead of as many as 32 points, with Pritchard scoring 20 before halftime; Jayson Tatum added 26 points and Paul George had 18. The Celtics also capitalized on Chicago’s mistakes, turning 16 Bulls turnovers into 21 points, while scoring 56 points in the paint. Caleb Wilson led Chicago with 23 points, but the Bulls shot about 38% from the field and lost their fourth straight game. Pritchard had also scored 28 points against Chicago earlier in the week, giving him 58 across the teams’ two recent meetings.
