Giannis Antetokounmpo Set for Heat Debut
Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to make his regular-season debut with the Miami Heat against the Minnesota Timberwolves after being traded from Milwaukee in a major offseason deal. He said he feels comfortable with his new teammates and the team’s system, and believes Miami built strong chemistry during training camp. His preseason play—including a 20-point, 15-rebound, nine-assist performance—has encouraged the Heat, who also added Klay Thompson. Minnesota enters the opener with new guard LaMelo Ball alongside All-Star Anthony Edwards.
