Kansas Seeks to End Baylor Streak in Sold-Out Homecoming Game

Kansas hosts Baylor in its sold-out 114th Homecoming game, with the 2-4 Jayhawks seeking their first Big 12 win after consecutive losses and the 4-2 Bears aiming to rebound from a loss to TCU. Kansas also hopes to end Baylor’s 14-game winning streak in the series, while a loss would further complicate the Jayhawks’ hopes of reaching a bowl game. Kansas coaches say their team must run the ball more consistently, avoid predictable passing situations against Baylor’s disruptive defensive front, and communicate quickly against the Bears’ up-tempo offense. Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway leads the offense, though backup Sawyer Robertson has also been productive and could see action.
