Hopkins Leads Wisconsin Past Rutgers, Earns Bowl Eligibility

True freshman Ryan Hopkins made his first start at quarterback and completed 18 of 24 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns as Wisconsin beat Rutgers 31-10. Hopkins took over after Colton Joseph struggled in recent games, and he helped the Badgers pull away with 18 unanswered second-half points, including a 66-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Harris. The win gave Wisconsin its sixth victory and made the Badgers bowl eligible after their shutout loss to Iowa.
