LSU Defeats Auburn 38-17
LSU defeated Auburn 38-17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium after turning an early 3-3 tie into a 31-10 halftime lead. Quarterback Sam Leavitt accounted for more than 400 yards of offense and four touchdowns, including scoring passes to Jackson Harris and Trey'Dez Green; Harris’s 70-yard touchdown catch helped LSU answer Byrum Brown’s rushing score. LSU dominated both lines and pulled away after Auburn briefly narrowed the gap. The loss followed Auburn’s upset of then-No. 1 Georgia the previous week and extended Auburn’s home record against Power Four opponents to 11 losses in its last 13 games.
