Raiola’s Late TD Lifts Oregon Past Nebraska
Dylan Raiola came off the bench in the fourth quarter and led Oregon to a 17-14 comeback win over his former team, Nebraska, throwing a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jamari Johnson with 28 seconds left before the Ducks converted a two-point attempt. Oregon had trailed 14-6 after three quarters, and Raiola directed two scoring drives, including the decisive 20-play, 82-yard march; he finished 11-of-18 for 59 yards after Brock Thomas struggled. Raiola had been benched after a poor performance in Oregon’s loss to UCLA, while starter Dante Moore remained sidelined with a concussion. Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea threw and ran for a touchdown, but the Cornhuskers gave up a fourth-quarter lead for the second consecutive week. Oregon planned to continue evaluating its quarterback situation ahead of its game at Illinois.
