Seahawks Defense Set to Test Bears’ Rushing Attack
Seattle’s defense has been dominant through the first seven weeks of the 2026 season, limiting opposing quarterbacks and leading the NFL in yards allowed per game. Its latest statement was a 20-3 win over Kansas City, in which Patrick Mahomes threw for just 165 yards and the Chiefs failed to score a touchdown. The Seahawks now face a major test against Chicago’s offense, led by Caleb Williams, who has thrown for more than 300 yards in each of his past two games, and a league-leading rushing attack. Seattle’s ability to sustain its defensive form may be complicated by injuries to key players, including Leonard Williams, Tyrice Knight, Uchenna Nwosu and Drake Thomas.
