Rams Lose Adams for Six Weeks and Grupe for Season to Injuries
The 2-4 Los Angeles Rams lost 18-16 to Arizona on Sunday, with wide receiver Davante Adams leaving after a non-contact injury late in the game. Coach Sean McVay said Adams ruptured a hamstring and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks; the team is likely to place him on injured reserve. Adams leads the Rams with 480 receiving yards and has four touchdowns in six games. Kicker Blake Grupe also tore his ACL while attempting a tackle on a kick return and will miss the rest of the season. The injuries could lead Los Angeles to seek additional help at receiver as it prepares to face the Las Vegas Raiders.
