Browns Beat Titans 27-24, Retain AFC North Lead

The Cleveland Browns beat the Tennessee Titans 27-24 on Andre Szmyt’s 32-yard field goal as time expired, extending their record to 5-2 and keeping them atop the AFC North. After trailing 14-0 early, Cleveland rallied behind Deshaun Watson, who threw for 308 yards, ran for a touchdown and led his fifth fourth-quarter game-winning drive of the season, capped by a 36-yard catch-and-run from Harold Fannin Jr. Cleveland’s defense made a pivotal goal-line stand after a replay review overturned a Tony Pollard touchdown; Pollard still scored three times. The Titans fell to 1-6, and Cleveland next faces the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers in a key division matchup.
