Broncos List Surtain Questionable but Unlikely to Play vs Cardinals

Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II is unlikely to play against the Cardinals, extending his absence to three games as he recovers from a sprained ankle suffered in Week 4. Although he practiced on a limited basis all week and was listed as questionable, reports indicate he has a good chance to return for Denver’s Week 8 game against Kansas City. Denver has won all six games over the past three seasons in which Surtain was unavailable, but the defense will also be without safety Talanoa Hufanga against Arizona.
