Texans’ Woody Marks Questionable After Knee Injury

Houston Texans running back Woody Marks left Sunday’s game against the New York Giants with an apparent left knee injury after his leg twisted during a tackle; he walked off under his own power and had 49 yards on 13 carries. The injury came after Marks had been expected to handle a heavy workload, with David Montgomery recovering from a groin injury and Jahwar Jordan sidelined, leaving Dare Ogunbowale and Deuce Vaughn as backups. Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley said the team had confidence in its available backs, while Marks also expressed confidence in the group. A Week 7 fantasy preview had viewed Marks as the steadier option against Josh Jacobs, whose workload was uncertain after a long absence.
