Cowboys Beat Eagles 38-21 as Hurts Expected to Miss Season
The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night, ending a two-game skid and moving to 3-4 while handing Philadelphia its fifth straight loss. Rookie wide receiver Makai Lemon led the Eagles with seven catches for 67 yards and scored his first NFL touchdown on a third-quarter drive that briefly put Philadelphia ahead. Dallas gained 204 rushing yards, led by Javonte Williams’ career-high 155 yards and a touchdown, while Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes, including two to CeeDee Lamb; linebacker DeMarvion Overshown sealed the win with a fourth-quarter interception of backup quarterback Tanner McKee. The Cowboys remain in the NFC East race, while the 2-5 Eagles face mounting pressure with Jalen Hurts expected to miss the rest of the season because of blood clots in his lungs.
