Seahawks, Chiefs Make Roster Moves Before Clash
Ahead of their Week 7 matchup, the Seahawks released cornerback Trevon Diggs to make room for offensive lineman Anthony Bradford, with a possible return for Diggs to Seattle’s practice squad still in play. Kansas City placed left tackle Josh Simmons on injured reserve with a back injury, leaving Patrick Mahomes without a key protector for at least four games. Seattle may rely on running back Emanuel Wilson in the red zone against a Chiefs defense that has been among the league’s best at preventing touchdowns there. The Chiefs also cut running back Nate Carter from their practice squad.
