Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw four interceptions and completed just 8 of 24 passes for 125 yards in a rain-soaked 16-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a stark reversal after a strong performance the week before. Penix took responsibility, saying he needed to protect the ball and promising to bounce back. Tampa Bay relied largely on coverage rather than its usual heavy pressure, but its defense still intercepted Penix four times and kept Atlanta scoreless. The Buccaneers won despite quarterback Baker Mayfield completing no passes, a rare feat in NFL history.

Tampa pulling off a win with zero completions is wild, their defense must have capitalized hard on those turnovers.

Chiefs, Broncos Set for Pivotal AFC West Matchup

The Chiefs-Broncos matchup is pivotal in the AFC West: Kansas City can strengthen its division lead, while a Denver win would tighten the race. Denver may have an opportunity against a depleted Chiefs secondary after cornerbacks Mansoor Delane was ruled out and L’Jarius Sneed went on injured reserve, though Denver’s ability to capitalize depends partly on its own receiver availability.
