Cardinals Rule Out Three for Seahawks Matchup

The Cardinals head to Seattle for a Week 9 rematch after losing 31-7 to the Seahawks in their first meeting this season. Arizona will be without running back Bam Knight, tackle Jayden Williams and guard Jon Gaines, leaving Tyler Allgeier to lead the backfield and likely putting Josh Fryar at left tackle. The game could also shape the Cardinals’ approach to the Nov. 10 trade deadline: a win would keep the 3-5 team in the NFC playoff picture and could encourage it to hold on to players such as Budda Baker and Josh Sweat, while a loss may increase pressure to make moves. Seattle, meanwhile, has a chance to sweep the season series.
