Police Records Detail Three More Abuse Allegations
Police records released in connection with Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs’ May 2026 arrest say three other women separately reported physical-abuse allegations involving incidents in 2021 and 2022, including claims of being slapped, pushed or grabbed by the throat, having phones taken, and being threatened. One woman reported bruising, and another said Jacobs warned she could be deported; the allegations have not led to additional charges. Jacobs’ lawyers called the claims uncorroborated and said prosecutors reviewed them before he pleaded no contest in September to misdemeanor battery and criminal-damage-to-property charges; the criminal-damage charge may be dismissed if he meets conditions. The NFL said its investigation remains open and it will review the new allegations; Jacobs missed the first six games while on the commissioner’s exempt list, returned as the review continued, and could still face league discipline. The Packers had not announced a response.
