Seahawks Host Bears in Monday Night Game With Playoff Implications

The 5-2 Chicago Bears visit the 4-3 Seattle Seahawks on Monday night in a matchup with potential playoff implications, featuring two young coaches, Ben Johnson and Mike Macdonald, whose teams bring high-powered offenses and a formidable Seattle defense. Chicago will look to Caleb Williams—who has played efficiently since returning from injury—and its strong rushing attack to handle Seattle’s hostile home crowd and defense. Bears center Garrett Bradbury is viewed by Chicago’s coaches as a key factor in managing the environment, while newly acquired defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and Seahawks guard Quenton Nelson are also expected to make their team debuts. Seattle’s passing game, led by target-heavy Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Chicago’s skill-position matchups are among the other storylines drawing attention.
