Terry McLaurin Ruled Out With Knee Injury

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin was carted off with an apparent left knee injury in the first quarter of Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers after his knee buckled while running a route. He was ruled out, and coach Dan Quinn said the injury could be significant; the team planned scans Tuesday but had not announced a diagnosis or recovery timeline. McLaurin had one catch for 27 yards before leaving, and quarterback Jayden Daniels had to rely more on Stefon Diggs and Washington’s other receiving options. The Commanders lost 23-17, and 49ers receiver Mike Evans and Washington defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw also left with injuries.
