Heightened Security Planned for Games in Kalamazoo, Paris
The NFL will increase security for Sunday’s Steelers-Saints game in Paris after recent civil unrest, coordinating with city and national authorities. The league says it is confident in its plans and that the game at Stade de France was never at risk of being moved or canceled. The matchup will be the NFL’s first regular-season game in France, though some players and others have raised concerns about proceeding amid the unrest.
