Eagles Lose DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks vs. Cowboys
The 2-4 Philadelphia Eagles will be without wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Smith will miss his third game this season because of a recurring hamstring injury; after returning last week against Carolina, he caught seven passes for 75 yards and a touchdown, but did not practice this week. The absences leave quarterback Tanner McKee with fewer established receiving options, while tight end Dallas Goedert is expected to play despite a knee issue. Running back Saquon Barkley and offensive lineman Landon Dickerson are questionable, and linebacker Nolan Smith is ruled out. The Eagles have lost four straight and are expected to be without quarterback Jalen Hurts for the rest of the season because of blood clots.
