Walker’s Two TDs Power Chiefs Past Chargers 22-6

Kenneth Walker III rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6, improving to 5-0. Walker has 665 rushing yards in his first five games with Kansas City, an NFL record for a player’s first five games with a new team, along with six rushing touchdowns and two receiving scores. Patrick Mahomes threw for 272 yards, while the Chiefs’ defense kept the Chargers out of the end zone, sacked Justin Herbert four times and forced two turnovers. Analyst Dan Orlovsky called Walker the NFL’s leading MVP candidate; Walker joined Kansas City on a three-year, $43.05 million contract after leaving Seattle in free agency. He is set to face the Seahawks on Sunday night, when Seattle’s run defense will test its former player.
