Vikings Activate Jordan Mason From Injured Reserve
The Minnesota Vikings activated running back Jordan Mason from injured reserve Saturday, making him available for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts after he missed four games with a surgically treated fractured thumb. Mason practiced fully during the week and is expected to share the backfield with Aaron Jones, who handled most of the rushing workload during Mason’s absence, though the team has not specified how quickly Mason will regain a larger role. Mason rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown in his only appearance this season, the Vikings’ Week 1 win over Green Bay. Minnesota also released cornerback Natrone Brooks from its practice squad and brought running back DeeJay Dallas back to the practice squad.
