ESPN Speculates Broncos Could Bench Bo Nix

Bo Nix’s uneven play and Denver’s low-producing offense have fueled debate about whether the Broncos should stick with him, despite a strong early-career win record and the team’s ability to keep winning. Analysts including ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Bill Barnwell have raised questions about Nix’s performance and long-term future, but their comments were speculation—not reports that Denver plans to bench him. Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez has gone further, suggesting a benching could help if Nix’s struggles continue, with backup Jarrett Stidham a possible replacement. Critics point to Nix’s modest passing production and the offense’s poor rankings, while supporters argue that Denver’s record matters and that Stidham offers no obvious upgrade. The discussion also reflects uncertainty over whether the problems stem from Nix, the offense’s play-calling, or other factors.
