Dolphins replace Patterson with Gonzalez after missed kicks
0

The Miami Dolphins signed kicker Zane Gonzalez to their practice squad and released Riley Patterson ahead of their Week 7 game against the Jets. Patterson missed two field goals and an extra point in Miami’s first five games. Gonzalez is returning from an injury that led to his release in August; he made 19 of 22 field goals and 17 of 18 extra points in nine games with Atlanta last season, and has converted 81 percent of his field-goal attempts over seven NFL seasons.
