Dolphins End 0-5 Start, Beat Jets 28-25

The Miami Dolphins ended an 0-5 start by beating the New York Jets 28-25, giving coach Jeff Hafley his first victory. Malik Willis threw two touchdown passes to rookie Caleb Douglas, ran for another score and converted a crucial fourth down late. Ollie Gordon II rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown, extending his scoring streak to four games as Miami relied on its ground game. Gordon has taken on a larger role after De’Von Achane’s season-ending injury. Fifteen rookies were active for Miami, and Douglas scored twice.
