Yordan Alvarez chases rare AL Triple Crown while living out of an RV
Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez is having an MVP-caliber season and is pursuing baseball’s first American League Triple Crown since Miguel Cabrera in 2012. Away from the spotlight, Alvarez values traveling with his family in an RV, using it for camping, hunting and fishing and even living in it during spring training. He says the lifestyle gives him privacy and helps him feel like a normal person despite being a four-time All-Star and one of baseball’s most feared hitters. Baseball analysts are also discussing Alvarez’s Triple Crown bid alongside the Arizona Diamondbacks’ effort to hold the National League’s third Wild Card position.
