The Chicago White Sox activated catcher Kyle Teel from the injured list Friday as they continue their push for the AL Central title. Teel, who missed more than a month with a high-ankle sprain, completed a six-game rehab assignment and returns after recording two home runs and 14 RBIs in 19 games earlier this season. To make room, Chicago optioned rookie catcher Drew Romo to Triple-A Charlotte, where he can continue playing regularly after struggling offensively during an extended major-league stint. Teel’s return gives the White Sox another option at a position that has been a major offensive weakness, while the team enters the final weeks of the season with a three-game division lead and 22 games remaining.

Teel's bat behind the plate is exactly what this lineup needs down the stretch, glad he's healthy again.
Romo actually held his own back there, hope he keeps his head up in Charlotte and gets another shot soon.
