Crow-Armstrong, Bellinger win MLB Platinum Gloves

Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs and Cody Bellinger of the New York Yankees won the 2026 National League and American League Platinum Gloves, respectively. Crow-Armstrong led qualified outfielders with 25 outs above average, while Bellinger recorded 21 defensive runs saved, the most among AL left fielders. The awards combine fan voting with an adjusted SABR Defensive Index applied to that year’s Gold Glove winners. The Cubs repeated as NL Team Defense Award winners, and the Toronto Blue Jays took the AL honor; Chicago led the majors in both defensive runs saved and outs above average.
