Diamondbacks Lose Ground in Wild-Card Race

The Arizona Diamondbacks lost 4-2 to the Miami Marlins in 11 innings, missing a chance to gain ground in the National League wild-card race. Arizona remains 2½ games behind the San Diego Padres for the final playoff spot with 10 games remaining. Gabriel Moreno hit a solo homer and Ketel Marte delivered a late RBI double, but the Diamondbacks went 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position and left 15 runners on base.
