De La Cruz Nears 30-30, Reds Blank Braves

The Cincinnati Reds defeated the NL East champion Atlanta Braves 4-0 behind six scoreless innings from Brandon Williamson, who allowed three hits and no walks in a strong performance after an injury-plagued season. Elly De La Cruz stole his 29th base, hit his 29th homer and added an RBI single, putting him one home run and one stolen base from becoming the fourth player in Reds history to join the 30-30 club.
