Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll Has Elbow Surgery but Expects Brief Recovery
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll underwent a minimally invasive procedure to remove loose bodies from his right elbow after discomfort that had surfaced during the season worsened shortly after it ended. The issue had not required him to miss time during the season, and Carroll expects the surgery to cause only a brief delay to his offseason training. He hopes to resume swinging a bat in early December.
