The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Washington Nationals 5-3, scoring three runs in the third inning and adding runs in the fourth and sixth. Kyle Tucker homered and also scored earlier in the game, while Teoscar Hernández drove in two runs with a double and Mookie Betts contributed an RBI single. Washington rallied for three runs in the ninth, highlighted by doubles from Brady House and James Wood, but the comeback fell short. The Nationals left six runners in scoring position and went 3-for-13 with runners in scoring position, while Los Angeles went 2-for-9.
