Dana Brown Returns to Braves as Scouting Adviser
Dana Brown is returning to the Atlanta Braves as a senior adviser in the amateur scouting department, reuniting with president of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos. Brown previously served as Atlanta’s vice president of scouting from 2019 to 2022, then spent nearly four seasons as Houston’s general manager before the Astros and Brown parted ways in August. His Houston tenure included two division titles and an ALCS appearance, though the club struggled to sustain postseason success; in Atlanta, he will again work in scouting, an area where he has extensive experience.
